During the holidays we have been very busy preparing the next big update for VideoDrive 3. We’ve listened to the stream of feedback you gave us on VideoDrive 3 and we heard you. You really like the new import queue, but feel it’s tucked away on the Activity Tab. So, we’re improving and promoting it to the very first main screen. With new icons and status updates, and the functionality to delete and requeue individual video files. And… you can now reveal video files in Finder AND iTunes. So, no more searching for your newly imported videos in 2015! It’s really handy, we can’t live without it anymore!
Another area we’re focussing on, is dealing with videos that are still downloading. Depending on the tool and protocol you’re using it can be hard to determine if a file is fully downloaded or not. So we’re improving that, so you can be sure the end of your movie is not missing in iTunes. And the import queue will now reflect in real-time the download status of your videos as well. You’re welcome!
We’re currently in the process of streamlining the interface, with some new icons, and will release a beta of version 3.1 in the second half of january. Oh, and we have some other great features lined up as well… Stay tuned!
