Is upgrading to version 3 free?
If you have purchased VideoDrive 2 on or after May 1, 2014, upgrading is completely free. In that case, you can now retrieve your new registration key. Make sure to enter the email address you have used to purchase VideoDrive (typically the email address of your Paypal account). The new key will be send to that email address.
If you have purchased VideoDrive 2 earlier, you can purchase a new license in our shop.

Does VideoDrive 3 have the same features as version 2?
While VideoDrive 3 does the same as VideoDrive 2, some features that were no longer compatible with OS X Mavericks and Yosemite have been removed while a lot of new features have been added. VideoDrive works closely with OS X and the iTunes ecosystem, and therefore relies heavily on Apple so the availability of some features is outside our control. A knowledge base article is available that compares the changed or removed features in VideoDrive 3.
Do I need to take precautions before upgrading?
If you’re running VideoDrive 2 on Mavericks or Yosemite, you can safely upgrade. If you’re upgrading from previous versions of OS X (10.5 until §0.8), please read the following knowledge article.
Will version 3 retain my settings?
No, VideoDrive 3 is a brand new version so you should check settings and preferences to customize VideoDrive the way you want to.
Can I run VideoDrive 2 and 3 side by side
Yes, you can but it’s not supported. And it’s not necessary as VideoDrive 3 completely replaces VideoDrive 2.
I have purchased VideoDrive on MacUpdate. What do I do?
